I love House M.D, it’s my favourite show but since his trip to the mental facility, did he became too nice or it’s only me that think that?

I think he is missing some of his sarcasm and his overall attitude seems a lot more positive. i know it kind of makes sense to the general story but I feel like the old house that made me fall in love with House M.D is fading away.
